Week 5 Game Schedule, October 11

This week we travel to Waimanalo County to visit the Eastsidahz.

GAME LOCATION: WAIMANALO BEACH PARK

8:00am – D1 – Intermediate Tackle

9:45am – D2 – Elementary Tackle

Flag 1 and Flag 2 – both teams have a BYE

Report time is 1 and 1/2 hours prior to game time.  Since we have a very early start, please make sure your child is well-rested, hydrated and has breakfast before the game.  Please allow enough time for travel to Waimanalo.  Players must be on time for ID checks.

You may want to bring tents and umbrellas or rain ponchos in case of inclement weather .

We are the visiting team so we will set-up on the School Side, while Rock Solid is the home team and will set-up near the Street Side.  No chain gang is needed at this time.

Meal assignments, drinks, half-time oranges and ice will be coordinated by Tyrell Ma’ae.

Please bring an umbrella or rain poncho since this area has frequent rain showers.   Tents and chairs will keep you comfortable throughout the day.

If your child is unable to attend the game, you must notify his/her Head Coach immediately .  Should you have any questions, please contact Leilani at 275-6134.

Players at Ko’olina will leave the hotel at 7:15am.  Coach Kaipo, Coach Ray, Aunty Leilani, Tyrell and Aunty Missy (Jordon’s Mom) will provide transportation for those who need it.

Players and coaches staying at the Ko’Olina Vacation Club will leave directly from the hotel at 6:00am.  Players should bring their game uniform/socks/shoes and equipment to the hotel.  We will leave the hotel in uniform.  Players and coaches will receive breakfast on the way to Kaneohe.  We can all return to Ko’Olina/Lagoon 3 after the completion of our game and team potluck.

• NEW LOCATION: Maili Field/Sea Country on Kaukama Road (turn right off of Farrington Hwy.)
• NEW REPORT TIME: 8:30am
• NEW GAME TIME: 10:00am

PLAYERS
1. Wear green/white Islanderz game jersey and game pants with 7 pc pads and green socks (new players wear: black practice pants with 7 pc pads, and green or black practice jersey, and green socks or if you were issued a temporary green jersey with white numbers wear that jersey)
2. Remember helmet, mouthpiece and shoulder pads
3. BE ON TIME FOR WARM-UPS

PARENTS
1. Bring your own chairs and tents. There are no bleachers.
2. There are port-a-potties, no restrooms.
3. Bring your own drinks/refreshments.
4. Lunch will be provided for players and coaches.
