SPRING SEASON CELEBRATION FOR FOOTBALL AND RUGBY

We have reserved White Plains Beach Pavilion 1798 for our season-end gathering.  All coaches, players and their families are invited to attend our party for a fun-filled day of beach activities and BBQ/potluck.

Saturday, July 5 from 8:00am – Sundown

• 8:00am Arrival: set-up tents, table and chairs
• 9:00am BBQ while kids swim & play
• 11:00am Lunch Served
• 12:30pm Activities for All!

BRING: Tents, tables and beach chairs.  Swim clothes, a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, beach toys, potluck dish and own drinks.  Please bring a cooler with lots of water for your little ones!

NOTE:  Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible guardian. For safety reasons, players may not be dropped off unattended at this function.  Children are allowed to swim when a life guard is on duty.

Due to poor field conditions at McKinley High School, we have just been informed by the league that our games this Saturday will take place at Kahalu’u Field.

• New Players $178*includes game jersey & pants, practice jersey, shoulder pads, 7-piece pads, socks, mouthpiece and all fees.

RUGBY

• Rookie Rugby ages 6 to 10U (non-tackle) $30
• Rugby ages 11 – 19U $55

Sports Lineup for 2014

We have finally realized our dream of offering multiple sports.  Since many of you have inquired into our different sports’ offerings – below is a brief summary. Each sport will be updated under a separate page with more details for 2014 as they become available.

Sport #1 – Tackle and Flag Football with games and tournament play year round under the Hawaii State Jr. Prep Sports Association.

Sport #2 – Wrestling with club training and tournaments year round under the Police Activities League and AAU Wrestling.  Additional training is offered in MMA/Boxing between wrestling tournaments.

Sport #3 – Rugby games and tournaments under USA Rugby and Hawaii Youth Rugby from Spring to Summer.

Sport #4 – Basketball clinics with OIA Basketball Officials beginning in January at Mahiko Gym.

As promised, very soon we will have more information, registration details and dates finalized for you in all Sports.  Our club is subsidized by proceeds from apparel sales through our private label – USO Athletics.

Kroc Center Party Today!

REMINDER: Our Kapolei Islanderz Football Party is at the Kroc Center today starting at 1:00pm. Report to the Front Desk and tell them you are with the Islanderz Football Team. Come to the Cabanas (near the back of the slides) and get your wristband and take your swim test.

Swimming is from 1:30-3:30pm
Food Service is from 3:30-4:30pm

Although there is some rain in Kapolei today, there are contingency plans in place with the Kroc Center depending on how bad the weather is this afternoon. We encourage everyone to be on time because regardless of the rain, we will have our foodservice today (indoors if necessary)!! If we are unable to swim, we will reschedule for another swim time.

SPLASH, SPLASH…OUR POOL PARTY IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1

The Cabanas have been reserved and the date is set for our year-end football gathering at the Kroc Center located at 91-3257 Kualaka’i Parkway (North-South Rd.)

On Sunday, December 1 wrist bands will be issued at 1:00pm. Swim time is 1:30-3:30pm. Food service begins at 3:30pm and ends at 4:30pm.

REMEMBER: Swim attire, towel and a change of clothes. Please do not bring valuables. All players need to be picked up after the event.

We look forward to seeing our players and coaches in two weeks!
